Membership Liaison and Service

We deal with issues like subvention system and group employee insurance on behalf of our members. As studies and researches are crucial parts of social work, we’ve also made our dedicated library on social welfare accessible to all members.

International and Mainland China Affairs

Our aim is to build Hong Kong as one of the Centre for Excellence in human and social development, bringing significant collaboration amongst NGOs in Hong Kong, Mainland and international. The Economic and Social Commission of the United Nations has granted us Special Consultative Status to play such role globally and we have signed a MOU with Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs to participate in Mainland’s social service sector.

NGO Capacity Building & HKCSS Institute

Our INSTITUTE provides a variety of courses and training, as well as seminars and best practice sharing. We also cooperate with professionals from academics, professional associations and business corporations on special training and seminars.

IT Resource Centre

Our aim is to help the sector to take the advantage of technology at work. We propose IT policies, operation and software guidelines and provide supports, as well as introduction to reasonable priced products to our fellow members. While taking care of the sector’s technical need, we also promote “accessibility to all”, aiming to lower the barriers to IT accessibility.
